Importance of Jyotish

What is Vedic Astrology and the Importance of Vedic Astrology!!
Based on Vedic scriptures, Jyotish is the light/eye of God’s eyes. Jyoti+Ish=Jyotish! Vedic Astrology is the oldest scripture of India! Which is a part of the Vedas. It is said that there are 162 verses related to Astrology in the Atharvaveda, 44 in the Yajurveda, and 30 verses in the Rigveda. Based on the verses of these Vedas, today’s great people have changed the form of Astrology and are engaged in making everything fruitful, whereas it is based on calculations.
Jyotish is one of the six Vedangas, along with 1. Shiksha, 2. Kalpa 3. Vyakaran 4. Nirukta 5. Chhand and 6. Jyotish. Out of which, Vedic Astrology has been given the highest importance in Jyotish. In today’s time, there are other forms of astrology, known as Lal Kitab, K. P., Nadi, Palmistry, and Western Astrology, among others. All these are also parts of astrology; in fact, Vedic astrology is the root of all these.

Astrology is the story of 9 planets, 12 zodiac signs, and 28 constellations moving in the zodiac. Vedic Astrology was born in India itself, where ancient Indian-shastra consider it a complete science that expresses the upcoming event through the movement of the planets of the solar system in our universe.

In Vedic Astrology, only a person can know about their past, future, and present through their planets and constellations. This Vedic Astrology is the gift of our sages and saints, which was given to Parashar ji from the mouth of Brahma and then to Maitreya ji. In India, there have been great astrologers like Garg, Aryabhatta, Bhrigu, Brihaspati, Kashyap, Varahamihir, Pitrayus, and Vaidyanath, etc.

According to Jyotish Shastra, there have been 18 Maharshis who have been the originators of Jyotish, and Kashyap has named them as Surya, Pitamah, Vyas, Vashisht, Atri, Parashar, Kashyap, Narada, Garg, Marichi, Manu, Angira, Lomesh, Paulish, Chyavan, Yavan, Bhrigu, and Shaunak. Jyotish has been called the eye of the Vedas because only through Jyotish do we come to know what the creature was in its previous birth, and for which karma-fruits it has taken birth again, and these karma-fruits are received through the planets and conditions. Hinduism is a karma-based religion, not fate-based.

All our Vedas, “Upanishads”, and “Gita” teach us to do karma only. It has been said in the Gita that this world is like an inverted tree whose roots are above and branches below; only then do we have to raise our head to ask for something. Man has his roots in his brain only; only then does he think and gather knowledge from there. What we have received in this present birth as destiny is a part of our karma. Indians started counting stars and time from the Sun and Moon, and counting day and night started from the Sun and the lunar month. The sun is called the soul of the whole world.

Vedic astrology has three parts – Ganit, Samhita, and Hora! Through Ganit(calculation), it was found that all the planets are revolving around the Sun, which is surrounded by constellations; 12 zodiac signs revolve in this constellation only. Indian astrology depends on the “Nirayan” method. Only Nirayan tells about the calculation of planets. “Sayan” tells about the position of planets in the solar system. Astrology is a science, a curiosity, a systematic knowledge, which makes one’s self-realization, self-experience, and self-identification.

Importance of planets in astrology: Vedic astrology is a divine science whose calculation is done from the constellations. These stars do not have any good or bad effect; they only tell what is, what was, or what will be! Through astrology, we can know how we can improve our present life through our actions and make any important decision about our future life.

As many people feel, it becomes difficult to make any decision during Amavasya, because this time of the moon has a very deep impact on our emotions, mind, and brain. It is only through astrology that we can know which planet influences us, so that we can face the problem in the coming time and move forward in the right direction. Astrology sheds light on reality through its knowledge.

From this reality, we can know about other aspects of our life like education, family, marriage, business, health, children, social status, and the financial system. It is the light of our path of life, which helps us like a doctor even in our difficult times. We cannot avoid the obstacles in our lives, but we can find a solution to fight these obstacles.

Vedic astrology works as a weapon to fight these obstacles so that the troubles are reduced. Astrology depends on planets, constellations, and two bright planets Sun and the Moon; they affect our body right from birth and through Dasha-Antardasha, they inform us about the journey of pleasant and unpleasant events of our life, so that we can take precautions in time and move forward on a better path.

Traditional Astrology in Modern Times: Astrology is a traditional science; our lifestyle, customs, beliefs, and thoughts have completely changed, but modern astrology is still based on the same principles, which are based on planets and zodiac signs. Ancient astrology is mainly based on the movement of 28 constellations, the sun, and the moon.

Astrology is a spiritual science, fate is an important part of our life, where we have no control over any aspect of our life. Through modern astrology, we can see many parts of life, and what events can happen to the native in the coming time. Many aspects of traditional astrology are rejected in modern astrology. Like Mars was given importance only for violence and conflict, but now it is also considered a natural form of energy.

Similarly, the sixth house of the horoscope is not seen as illness or debt, but it is seen as health and competition, the eighth house is death, then there is also property and discovery from the father, the twelfth house is jail, then there is also spirituality and foreign travel. Modern astrology also looks at the practical aspects of planets, like Mercury-intelligence! Venus-love! Now we don’t fall for stories and tell the results of planets in their actual form.

In modern astrology, results are given according to country, time, and person. Earlier, Rahu and Saturn were considered the most inauspicious planets; Rahu was considered the lowest planet, but in today’s era, these Rahu and Saturn planets make us aware of the truth of life. This Rahu is the factor of today’s important initiatives like working abroad, architecture, space plane, networking, software, technology, engineering, and media. In the growing race of modernity, modern astrology is given priority.
Importance of Vedic astrology in the modern world: Modern astrology is an important and useful subject, due to which we can study the character of a person’s nature, thinking, and psychology. We can predict the coming time through his Lagna, planets, constellations, and Dasha. It keeps an eye on all our good and bad aspects. Astrology is a traditional concept that can reveal our past, future, and present. Astrology is the light of our life path, which keeps an eye on every aspect from time to time. It tells us through our own stars what is better, what we will get at what time.

Our birth chart is the X-ray of our life, which no one can change like the lines on our hands. Through astrology, we can determine the goal and direction of life; planets give results according to their position. A good astrologer tells the solution according to these planets and conditions through his calculations. Through astrology, we can choose a better profession for children. Vedic astrology shows the light, how better improvement can be brought in education. Astrology gives mental relief in times of trouble and stress. In such a fast-paced life, it gives proper advice and strength to handle problems. A person chooses the spiritual path for relief and receives the light to fight the obstacles.

How Vedic Astrology helps in improving life: Astrology explains the position of planets through calculations. Astrology shows the path in darkness through a light. Astrology helps us at both the personal and social levels. We can use astrology as a tool; it can tell us the ups and downs of opportunities in advance. Any upcoming obstacle can be known in advance through astrology. Astrology acts like a third eye, which can decide the choice of past and future time through Dasha and Transit.

You can choose a better life partner for your life and a better path for business. If you are in depression, then astrological decision-making provides mental strength. It takes out the person standing on a double path from confusion and gives guidance. We can recognize our good and bad times. After all, what is fate, and how can to make your destiny easy through good deeds? In this world of stress, business, and running, astrology teaches us to focus on our actions. Astrology gives awareness and motivates us to move ahead on our path.

Some important things that can make you an expert in astrology: Astrology is the science of the past, present, and future. We can tell through the planets what has happened or will happen in the life of a person. According to Sage Parashar, a good astrologer is a knower of scriptures and mathematics. He is patient, tolerant, truthful, a patriot, a believer, intuitive, knowledgeable, punctual, knowledgeable about the country and time, a knower of people, a knower of words, and knows how to play with words.

With proper knowledge of planets and constellations, one can know their auspicious and inauspicious position and depth, and with proper knowledge of mathematics, one can know whether the birth time of the person is correct or not.

With the correct knowledge of the condition, one can suggest what the future holds. Only with practical knowledge and experience, a good astrologer handle a person in any problem. Incomplete knowledge is like poison. Only an experienced person can correctly predict and show the right path through Vedic astrology with the help of proper guidance. Which the eyes of ordinary man cannot see in times of difficulty. A good astrologer shows light like a candle in the darkness.

However, the use of intuition in the science of astrology is possible only if the astrologer is at a high spiritual level. A good astrologer can recognize bad times and give proper advice and power to handle problems, and can give advice and solutions with his skills in times of trouble and crisis.
How to get expertise in Vedic astrology: Astrology is a divine science, so to become an expert in it and to solve problems, it is very important to have spiritual knowledge and power. He needs to have the blessings of the Guru and astrological knowledge. He should have the intuitive power and magical words so that he can attract light even in the darkness. He can tell the native everything about what is happening in his life, what is going to happen, or what can happen. He should have all the skills to predict the future.

A good astrologer should have complete knowledge of Vedic astrology, the solar system, the movement of planets, the role of stars, the calculation of constellations, Dasha, Rashi, Varga Kundli, and transit. The astrologer should also have proper knowledge of health, business, education, depression, marriage, happiness, children, future, and other activities. He should have the right judgment of when an event will happen, and when to avoid doing any work. The astrologer should follow the truth, avoid any myth, and maintain the faith of the person.

Importance of Moon in Vedic: From the Vedic point of view, the Moon has the most important place in astrology. Moon is a bright, royal, and cool planet having divine power. Moon has the power to control the fickle mind. It is exalted in Taurus, and the Moon is very powerful in its exalted sign and becomes negative and weak in its debilitated sign, Scorpio. The Moon is the fastest and most dynamic planet among all the planets; it travels through all the zodiac signs and constellations in 27 days.

It rules over the mind, thoughts, water, daily routine, mother, brain, intellect, behavior, emotions, liquids, medicines, travel, peace, and love. Being in different zodiac signs and houses has different effects on the life of the native. Auspicious and strong Moon gives results like Rajyoga in the horoscope, just like other Dhanyoga and Yogas formed by the Sun give results.

Moon controls our memory, mentality, emotions, attitude, interest, and thinking. If the moon is weak or inauspicious, then the person’s mentality and memory are weak, stressful, depressive, and psychological troubles and thinking are unstable. When it is the time of a full moon, the moon is close to the earth; at the same time, people’s mental problems increase, and they have to face depression. The moon is a part of sensitivity, imagination, creativity, and artistry. Due to its positive effect on the native, he has amazing creativity, intuition, premonition, and imagination. Like the Lagna Kundli, the Moon Kundli is also very important in future calculations, and the Dasha is also calculated on the basis of that.
Importance of Vinshottari Dasha in Vedic astrology: In astrology, “Dashas” are used to predict the events of a person’s life. Vimshottari Dasha has more importance in Vedic astrology, which depends on the degrees and position of the moon. The depiction of past, present, and future events in our life is done according to the Dasha, for which “Vimshottari Dasha” has logical importance in Vedic astrology. Each zodiac sign is based on three constellations. The zodiac sign in which the moon is at the time of birth is the same constellation in which the dasha of the lord of that constellation is obtained.

In Vinshotari, Mahadasha is divided into nine planets, and accordingly, the division of Antar Dasha and Pratyantar Dasha is done. Accordingly, the period of planets is determined. Life events happen according to the period and ownership of the planets. Auspicious and inauspicious results are obtained according to the position of the planets. The cycle of Vinshotari is of 120 years in total, in which all planets are given fixed years.

In this period of each planet, the period is of Ketu-7 years, Venus-20, Sun-6, Moon-10, Mars-7, Rahu-18, Jupiter-16, Saturn-19, and Mercury-17 years. In the birth-chart, all the planets are combined with some or the other, but the result of all is obtained according to the dasha and position. In Vedic astrology, the result of all events is fixed, which is obtained only when the appropriate dasha comes. When success in business and happiness in marriage, and obstacles and struggles come, all this is determined by the Dasha.

How the fate of two twins is different according to Vedic: Everyone in this world has different faces, different fates, whether it is twins or a single birth. Every person on earth has different palm lines. Even being twins, there are different lines, personalities, and characteristics. Every person takes birth according to their fate and karma; according to all the deeds of the previous birth, they get the result in this birth.

Due to different Lagna, Nakshatra, and Sub-Lord, all the events are different. Due to a change in degrees in a single second, the constellation of Lagna also changes, and due to a change in the moon also there is a change in the thinking of person. Sometimes four children are born in a minute, yet everyone’s personality is different. In the birth of many twin children, a planet of one child is retrograde, while that of the other is direct.

Astrological calculations change even after a second. For example, Varga Kundli D-9 (marriage, religion, inner desire, and other skills), D-60 (karmas and accidents done till now), this Varga changes every two minutes, D-7 (children and entertainment) Varga, etc., are also different. The changed position of all these planets brings a lot of change in the lifestyle of twins. Even after the birth of a few minutes, there is a big difference between people.

Two seeds move forward and get results according to different destinies and karma. This astrology is based on the cycle of karmas and rebirth, so how can the future and personality of two children born at the same time be the same? The time, date, year, and parents and planets may be the same, but the names of both are never the same, so they will not be similar in practical structure.
