Life Line in Palmistry
In Palmistry, there are many main and other lines in the hand, through which something is said about the person through these lines and other mounts and signs of the hand. One of these lines is “Aayurekha”/Life Line. This line starts from the right side of the palm, surrounds the rounded thumb area below the Jupiter part, and goes down towards “Manibandh”. In which the area of Mars and Venus is also surrounded. Many times this line does not go towards Manibandh but turns downwards from the Venus area. The life line of the hand tells about the health and physical strength of a person, how his life force will be and when his powers will increase, and how he will be able to achieve success in life, and when he will face failure due to the decrease in life force.
Weakness or absence of a Life Line-
Usually, this line is present in all hands, but in the hands of those persons in whom it is not visible normally, even then, on looking carefully, it will be seen in weak form, but such persons will lack the life force; that is, even if their health appears good, it cannot be said with certainty that they will live long. Certainly, those who have a big thumb and a good brain line can live long, even if the life line is weak. In many hands, it happens that the life line goes only half the distance, and after meeting the fate line, it goes ahead in a round shape and meets the brain line. In such a situation, it should be decided which is the lifeline. Many times the lifeline is short and weak, and the supporting line is big and deep. In such hands, the easy way to identify is that the supporting line is above the Venus area, and the life line surrounds the Venus area.
Beginning of the life line– Usually, the life line begins from the right side of the hand. This is its natural position. But if it begins from the area of Jupiter, then it should be understood that the person is very ambitious and desires wealth, fame, and respect. The areas of Jupiter, Saturn, Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Moon are specially developed in the hand, and the person’s ambitions are accordingly. For example, if there is the influence of Mercury, then the person will be a speaker, scholar, and will want fame in business.
If the place of the Sun and the ring finger are prominent, then his aspirations will be related to wealth and art. Similarly, if the influence of Jupiter is more, then the desire for position and respect is more. The life line surrounds the Venus area like an arc, but in many hands, this circle is large; that is, the Venus area is large and wide. In some hands, the roundness of the life line is less, due to which the Venus area becomes small, limited, and narrow.
The more the roundness, the more the expansion of the Venus area; the less the roundness, the smaller the Venus area. Attraction, affection, mutual love between man and woman, desire and sexuality, etc., are considered from the Venus area. Due to this, those whose Venus area is limited and narrow will have less love, attraction, and inclination of women towards men in their hearts.
When there is a lack of affection in such persons, then the child-producing power will also be less, and due to this, even after marriage, they do not have as many children as their Venus area is strong and wide. Due to this, the area covered by the line is also important from the point of view of progeny. The general rule is that the longer the life line, the longer the lifespan of the person.
Many times it has been seen that the dead persons died after completing the age that was shown by their life line, but many times it has been seen that the life line shows the age of the person much after the age at which he died, that is, the life line was clear and long. In such a situation, the doubt arises that when the death of those persons is not revealed by the life lines, then how did they die earlier?
The answer to this is that one should not reach a final decision about age from the lifeline itself because the lifeline reveals the natural life force. One should also see from the heart line, brain line, health line, and other lines and signs what the signs of illness or death are. This is why palmists are cautioned not to try to arrive at a quick result from just one line or sign.
If this line is different on the right and left hand, that is, bigger in one and smaller in the other, then the results should be interpreted separately.
If the line on the right-hand side is longer, then understand that at the time of birth, that person was not born with that much life force, but later on, through diet, behavior, thoughts, and self-restraint, their life force increased and their lifespan increased.
If the line on the left hand is longer, then it should be understood that the person had come from the mother’s womb with sufficient life force, but later on, due to the various reasons mentioned above, that force decreased. Wherever the life line is clear, deep, and unbroken, it should be believed that there is enough vital force to maintain life and health, and on the contrary, where the life line is short, it should be understood that there is a threat to life after reaching that age.
Other characteristics of the line– If this line is deep and clear, then understand that the flow of life force is good, due to which such a person will be strong and healthy, and the fear of disease is less. So the line in the hand of strong people is clear and deep; such people worry less, and their health remains good.
If the life line is not deep and is wider or chain-shaped than required, and despite having fleshy and flexible hands, such people will not have as much strength as people with deep lines. It has been seen in many hands that in the beginning, the line is beautiful, i.e., deep and clear. But later it becomes thin, which means that in the first part of life, there was a lot of life force stored in them, but in the latter part of life, from where the life line became thin, then this life force started decreasing.
Life line- In palmistry, a clear, strong, deep, and long life line in the palm shows strength, power, and good health, but the qualities and defects that appear from other signs or expressions of the hands also change the results due to their combination. For example-
If the life line in someone’s hand is very deep and the Jupiter mount is strong, i.e. the Jupiter area is elevated, wide and the index finger is longer and the third knuckle of his fingers is stronger than the other knuckles, then such a person misuses the power and strength provided by the life line and always satisfies himself by eating too much and drinking too much. If more red color is also visible in such a hand and palm, then overeating and drinking too much alcohol have already left a great impact on his life.
Even if the life line in such hands is deep, deep and visible, there remains a fear that although there is no deficiency in the body and strength, due to the lack of control over overeating and drinking too much, even a person who is always healthy becomes a victim of high blood pressure, fainting, etc. Due to these diseases, sudden dizziness, unconsciousness, or paralysis, etc., fatal diseases occur.
If a person has an elevated Sun Part, Sun line, and long ring finger in his hand, he makes good use of his life force and lives a long life.
The person in whose hand the influence of Mars is more, that is, the area of Mars is elevated and extended, has the same tendencies as described above for the persons under the influence of Jupiter.
The person whose Venus area is high and extended but whose other characteristics also show the special effect of Venus, such a person also misuses the life force by excessive pleasure, and the result is only decline.
The person on whom the influence of Moon, Mercury, or Saturn is special in his hand, his life activities are relatively restrained.
Thin and light lifeline
If the life line is very thin and light, then it should be understood that there is a lack of vital force. Such a person’s immunity is weak, and the person falls ill easily due to which means he cannot bear much physical pain or hard work. To decide to what extent the life line is thin and light, other lines of the hand should also be seen, and then it is appropriate to compare. If the life line is deeper than other lines, then such a person will worry less.
If the life line is weaker than other lines, then such a person will always feel that he is working very hard, but it is putting a lot of stress on him, and there is a fear of his health deteriorating. Wherever there is a pit, break, or any other mark on the line, then illness is certain. If the life line in the hand is very thin or shallow, then the person is always worried. He feels surrounded by worries and calamities of the future. Therefore, where there is pain, hard work, fear, or work of courage, such persons should learn to struggle throughout their lives.
If the lifeline is broken in the left hand and complete in the right hand, that is, without any defect, then it is an indicator of a serious illness. If it is broken in both hands, then it is usually an indicator of death. If a broken part bends inwards towards the Venus area, then death is certain. If the lifeline starts from the root of the Jupiter area instead of the inside of the hand, then it should be understood that the person is ambitious from the beginning.
If the lifeline is chain-shaped in its initial stage, then it is an indicator of ill health in the initial part of life. When the lifeline is closely connected to the brain line, then life is guided by logic and intelligence, but the person is cautious in all those things and works that are related to themselves. When the distance between the lifeline and the brain line is medium, then the person is more independent in implementing their plans and ideas. Such a situation makes the person energetic and full of life. But if this gap is very less, then the person has too much self-confidence and he becomes adventurous, impulsive, hasty, and logic has no meaning for him.
The joining of the life line, head line, and heart line together is a very unfortunate sign in the hand. It indicates that due to his foolishness or out of anger, the person will put himself in trouble and great calamity. This sign also indicates that the person is not aware of the troubles coming upon him. When the life line gets divided in its middle and the branch goes to the root of the moon area, then the person with a well-shaped and strong hand is unstable and impatient.
He cannot sit in one place. He gets peace only by travelling. If such a combination is in a soft and flabby hand with a bent head line, then also the person is unstable and impatient, and he craves for exciting occasions, but this type of excitement is calmed by drinking alcohol, etc. If fine lines like hair fall downwards from the lifeline or are connected to it, then at the age at which they appear, there is a decrease in the life force. Such lines appear at the end of the life line, and then they indicate the disintegration of the life force of the native. The lines that emerge from the life line and go upwards are indicative of the economic gain and success of the native.
If such a line goes to the Jupiter area, then at the age at which such a combination is formed, the native gets a promotion in position or in their business. Such a combination fulfils the ambitions of the native. If such a line goes towards the Saturn area and starts moving parallel to the fate line, then the native gains wealth, and his worldly desires are fulfilled. But such a result is achieved only through the hard work and determination of the native.
