Saturn

The Real Judge of Our Karma

Saturn is a planet that is most commonly known as an evil planet. People have myths about this planet, as this is the planet that shows us the exact reality of life. Let us know something about this very interesting planet, Saturn. This is the slowest planet of the zodiac, which remains approximately two and a half years in a zodiac sign and takes 29½ years (approx.) to complete its cycle in all 12 zodiac signs.

Saturn is the slowest, so its effect on zodiac signs is more grave, and it will lead us to keep a close check on our karmas, as it is the true judge, which cannot be biased. It is so pure in its judgment.

Whatever you sow, you will reap is the philosophy behind this planet. It shows how to do good deeds; it gives us struggles and hurdles in life to teach us lessons and to make us understand what is necessarily good for our life.

It is exalted in Libra and becomes most powerful at 20°; on the other hand, it is debilitated in Aries at the same degree. Capricorn and Aquarius are their own signs. Venus and Mercury are best friends of Saturn, while Mars, the Sun, and the Moon are enemies. Jupiter has a neutral relationship.

When Saturn transits from the 12th sign from the natal moon (moon sign), it is called “Saade Saati” (period of 7 years and 6 months), which ends when Saturn enters the 3rd sign from the natal moon. Third, Sixth, and Eleventh Houses are the best placements for Saturn.

During this period of saade saati, a person has to undergo several tests taken by Saturn in the voyage of making that person worthy. These can be physical, mental, financial, or any other.

It is the main signifactor of longevity, jobs, sorrow, depth, archeology, old things, laborers, and low-class people. It will make you a hard worker. People with strong Saturn never lose hope.

Its process is slow and steady. It throws challenges upon you, and if you perform well, your progress starts gradually. Whatever it gives, it never takes back, and what you get is concrete, i.e., no one can steal or take it from you.

It is a good teacher, a karmic healer, a judge, and a democrat. Only Saturn shows you the real quality of life. It teaches you how to live and what direction you should go ahead for your deeds.

This is the only planet that leads the native to the utmost goal of life, which is called Moksha. If in Dreshkan Saturn is aspected by the Moon or vice versa, the native will become spiritually inclined.
