East Direction- This is the direction of the Sun, which is the king of all planets. The “Dikpal deity” here is “Indra”, who is the king of the gods. This direction should also be kept light, and this direction is very auspicious because the morning rays of the Sun remain here for a longer time. This is an illuminated area which is located between Ishan and Agni, which is in equal proportion to “Tamas” and “Rajas Gunas”.

Agni direction– This “South-East” direction is the direction of Venus, and its “Dikpal” is Agni Devta. In this direction, kitchen activities related to fire, electrical equipment, heaters, boilers, electronics, television, computers, generators, and electrical activities and entertainment equipment that can be energized can be done. This direction is the centre point of light, which is why the sun is in its full range here, and natural light remains here throughout the day, which makes the food tasty, bright, and nutritious. Agni’s direction should be heavier than Vayavya but lighter than “Nairitya”.
